Same question. The Usual UI should be calculating APY based on the annualized gross return / $ invested. So if you invest $1K for 25K YT ($25K) at 48% APY on the YT value, the return would be $12K over 1 year or 1,200% APY. So not sure how they come up with 3,562% APY in this example.
